Getting into The Cannabis Industry: 3 Myths Debunked

You may be a lot like I was. Learning the ins and outs of getting into the cannabis industry is tough. I can relate, because I did not understand how to move around it either, when I first got started. I asked a lot of questions... probably the same questions you are asking yourself right now: "Is cannabis even legal? How can I pivot into the business and make money? Should I spend weeks on Google looking up all the canna-guru ‘experts’ for answers?”


“Should I just give up?" And, of course, this line of thinking drove me nuts too. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I have asked myself those exact same questions. It got so bad that I almost gave up. I was tired of feeling frustrated (and even a bit angry with myself). I wanted to get my share of the fast-growing, multi-billion dollar industry without being thought of as an "outsider."


When I finally got in, I was getting anxious to find my voice in the business. This was mainly due to not knowing this one thing that was behind all my struggles and most likely yours too. I will reveal it in a moment. Before I continue, I would like to point out the three questions that turned it all around for me. I found out that some of the thoughts I had were just myths. It was just my monkey mind (and lack of information) that was getting the best of me. So, let's dive into what I discovered and I will make suggestions for your next steps. Ready? Super cool!

Myth #1: You must consume marijuana to get into the industry.

This myth is so widespread that it is easy to think it is true. I bought into it myself. So, if you have don't feel bad. It happens to the best of us. Here is the truth about it: the word “marijuana” usually refers to the the parts and products of the flowers of the cannabis plant. Theses products can typically have contain have tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in them. THC is the compound found in the plant that can have psychoactive effects.


I have seen plenty people in the industry who do not consume any THC and do extremely well in it. Non-THC consumption simply means certain jobs and opportunities may not be available to you.


When you are trying to break into the business, don't get frustrated and quit (either way though, it is sometimes good to be reminded of the truth, right?).

Myth #2: We need to learn about all the cannabis gurus out there first.

I am about to spill the beans on the dark side of using Google to unmask the canna-gurus out there. Now, you may have found me through Google, so it is not all bad. However, there is so much misinformation out there that you are probably very, very…VERY confused. I get it.

Look. For every canna-expert on Google you find, there are tens of hundreds of pseudo-experts… and downright hacks.

Good news: you have found one of the good folks!

Myth #3: Giving up is an option.

NOW is the best time to get into to cannabis industry so you can profit. In fact, the pandemic has accelerated your chances of getting in. Why? Lots of well-known brands are either consolidating or going out of business thereby creating more opportunities. On the inside, we are calling it The Cannabis Industry 2.0 Reset. In short, you are literally three feet from gold. You cannot stop digging now because the good stuff is right in front of you. I want to help you finally help you achieve your vision. Get to your dreams, goals, and aspirations faster than you ever thought possible. Now, let me share the breakthrough that helped me (and is helping other industry professionals as well).

It all hinges on “pre-scaling”. Pre-scaling simply means knowing the next three to five moves you want to make in this industry BEFORE you even get in it.
